Oh the horror, oh the indignity, OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE PASSED ALL THAT AS "GOOD ANIMATION" FOR GIRLS!
Certainly G-4 is a better generation than the previous and even though lots of its greatness is owned to the producers dedication, it also owes a lot to the fact that turned almost nothing into everything.
G-1 villains are original in its own right but the jump to G-4 is really like a trip to the moon.
Great review Mr. CR, looking forward to watch moreXD
and that last one was...I'm sorry but your reaction is basically mine, only sprinkled with "oh my god"s throughout and the worry of nightmares.....Oh god Season 2 cannot come any later.
It's funny how one starts to realize they're cringing slowly enough to realize the production of a cringe. Those @#$% ponies! It's a miracle if any old MLP fans were able to come back after... New borns, ulg!
As a female view who grew up with My Little Pony, I think you summed up those series nicely. I didn't even know about that new born series. *shudders* That was just scary.
I can't wait to see your next My Little Pony review. ^_^
Thank you for shedding some light on the past of a new found fandom of mine and many others.
I started watching MLP not too long ago and I really like it. Even for my eighteenth birthday, EIGHTEENTH, my mom got me Fluttershy and Rarity toys. I'm gonna get Rainbow Dash as soon as I get to the store though.
But this does fill me in on what I missed as a kid. I never really watched any MLP in any incarnations until now.
A very...terrifying look into MLP history. I'm going to have to watch all the episodes again to stop the screaming in my head due to...them.
Also, have you read Timelords and Terror, or is the perception of the Smooze as a terrifying omnicidal eldritch abomination more common than I thought?
Um, CR, you do know that the name "Coltonville" isn't official, right? It came from a fanfic entitled "A Pony and a Portal", but then some joker thought it would be funny to sprinkle it into the Wikipedia articles.
